This podcast is a recording of coverage of of one of the Private Client Section’s 2015 seminars. The seminar was held at The Law Society, Chancery Lane on 22 January 2015, and was presented by Helen Clarke.
The seminar provided an update on recent elderly client issues, including an overview of the impact of the Care Act 2014 – what you need to know, and a round-up of recent case law and decisions under the Mental Capacity Act.
Helen Clarke is a solicitor and past chair of the Law Society’s Wills and Equity Committee. She represents the Private Client Section on the Law Society Council. She is an acknowledged authoritative lecturer and in-house trainer on wills, probate, Mental Capacity Act and elderly client issues.
