John Bunker recently completed editing the Law Society’s new IHT Planning Handbook, published in mid-December, writing one-third, along with 14 Irwin Mitchell colleagues.
A freelance lecturer who is also a solicitor and CTA in Tax Trusts and Estates, for IM dealing with technical and training work. He moved into this role following more than 25 years’ experience as a solicitor specialising in wills, trusts, estate and tax planning.
John is Chair of CIOT’s Private Client (UK) Committee and serves on HMRC’s Capital Taxes Liaison Group & the new TRS Sub-group for 5 MLD.

Kate Mahon is a solicitor and sole practitioner at Davidson Mahon Solicitors in Rugby, Warwickshire. Kate deals with all aspects of private client work, but has particular expertise in advising farming families and business owners with regard to their estate planning.
