The chief executive of the Solicitors Regulation Authority has admitted that alternative business structures (ABSs) ‘haven’t worked’ as expected, while urging solicitors to take advantage of recent rule changes, enabling  them to team up with accountants in ‘one-stop shop’ advisory firms.
