The Property Section is looking for residential or commercial property practitioners to join our Property Section committee.

The Property Section committee develop and design the Section programme, which includes conferences, events and online content focusing on supporting practitioners and encouraging best practice.

We are now looking to appoint additional committee members.

We welcome applications from those working in residential and commercial practice and supporting property practitioners, including but not limited to:

  • commercial property solicitors
  • planning solicitors
  • property tax specialists
  • landlord and tenant solicitors
  • contentious property solicitors
  • practice managers
  • solicitors working for financial institutions
  • in-house residential/commercial property solicitors
  • experience in cross-border transactions/deals

The deadline for applications is 28 February 2019.

Appointments will be made on merit following an open and transparent process.

A selection panel will consider the applications and shortlisted candidates will be contacted by 14 March 2019.

We aim to have a regional mix of members and are also interested in hearing from applicants who are currently on Law Society committees, including women and those from minority ethnic backgrounds.
