In 2023 a business publication ran a headline ‘First thing we do, let’s bot all the lawyers’. Legal practice relies on interpreting precedent, legislative analysis and predicting outcomes, its core tasks relating to generating and reviewing text – potentially all areas conducive to the application of artificial intelligence in the future. Please join us for an interactive and informal roundtable to discuss how your law firm or in-house department has approached generative AI.

The focus of the roundtable was to facilitate the exchange of information on legal use cases and practices, helping you to increase your understanding of the issues and opportunities. The roundtable discussion is brought to you by the national Law Society’s Leadership and Management Section. It was aimed at law firm fee earners and business services, as well as at senior in-house counsel based in and around Leeds who already have or intend to incorporate AI in their day-to-day legal research and work.
