Join us for this panel discussion looking at key recent developments around ‘dawn raids’ (inspections by competition authorities on companies suspected of cartel activity and other breaches of competition law).

Dawn raids are a key tool for enforcers and pose critical legal risks for companies. Dawn raid practices have evolved rapidly post-pandemic to take account of changed working methods and ongoing technological innovations. Employees are increasingly working from home and do business on personal devices, with data stored using cloud infrastructure. Enforcers have responded by seeking new investigatory powers and adopting new procedures, including whistleblowing initiatives to compensate for an apparent reduction in leniency applications.

This online event will look to discuss how dawn raids are evolving, which sectors are being prioritised by enforcers, and what risks, in a changing work environment, companies need to be aware of.
