At the annual seminar on mergers, Section members heard from Sorcha O’Carroll from the Competition and Markets Authority

On Thursday 16 April 2024, the Competition Section held its annual seminar on the topic of mergers. We are particularly grateful to Sorcha O’Carroll, Senior Director of Mergers at the CMA, for her presentation and to DLA Piper for their generosity in hosting the event. Sorcha’s presentation provided a review of 2022/23 and a forward look at 2024, as well as answering questions from the audience, which was followed by drinks and networking.
