The chair of the Competition Section Committee, along with two members, has signed a statement highlighting the lack of ethnic diversity in the competition law area.

Chair of the Competition Section Committee, Keith Jones, and two members, Ruchit Patel and Omar Shah, have jointly signed a statement highlighting the lack of ethnic diversity in the practice area. 

The statement aims to kickstart a process of change. The members set out some steps they are planning to take this year to tackle the matter head-on.

The committee plan to hold a roundtable event on the topic, with the Competition and Markets Authority, in the upcoming months.
