Dr Mike Walker is chief economic advisor at the Competition and Markets Authority
Mat Hughes is a managing director inAlixPartners’ European competition practice, which is part of a broader litigation practice. He has some 25 years of experience as an anti-trust economist and in dealing with European and UK competition authorities in relation to all aspects of competition law.
