Sir Rupert Jackson
Sir Rupert Jackson is an arbitrator at 4 New Square Chambers and retired justice of the Court of Appeal of England and Wales.
In 2009, Sir Rupert conducted a review of civil litigation funding and the procedural rules, to make recommendations for promoting access to justice at proportionate cost. In his Final Report, he proposed wide-ranging reforms which were introduced in 2013. In 2016, he was asked to propose further reforms and published a Supplemental Report in July 2017.
