This seminar will focus on the Building Safety Act 2022, a very complex piece of legislation that conveyancers and other property professionals have had to make sense of to make informed decisions about taking on matters with building safety issues. Our speakers will offer practical advice and share litigation aspects of the Building Safety Act.

Following the release of The Law Society’s Building Safety Act 2022: a guide for conveyancers in February, as part of this session we are keen to get insight from members on how they are using the guidance. We will also share detail of our new book due to be published at the end of March Building Safety Act 2022 - A guide for property lawyers, 1st edition.

Join us in Newcastle on 1st May to gain practical advice on the building safety act and share the key issues you face as a property lawyer. Spaces are limited, so you are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment.

Speakers include:

  • Chair: Louise Hanson, executive director, Membership and External Affairs at the Law Society
