Matthew Cotton

Matthew Cotton is a civil litigation solicitor at Humfrys & Symonds. He is chair of the Civil Litigation Section of the Law Society. After being called to the Bar, Matthew qualified as a solicitor and currently practices as an advocate in the South West, Wales and West Midlands circuits. Matthew specialises in civil litigation, including personal injury, tort, insurance, credit hire and contract. He provides advice and representation to claimants and defendants in respect of trials, stage 3 hearings, interlocutory matters, case management conferences and costs case management conferences. Alongside a busy court practice, Matthew conducts training seminars and workshops and has assisted with higher education teaching.
