CMA issue call for Inputs in relation to its review of the Rail, Road and Inland Waterway Transport block exemption regulation
On 11 March 2024, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) issued a call for inputs in relation to its review of the Rail, Road and Inland Waterway Transport block exemption regulation (RRIWTBER). The responses to the call for inputs will inform the CMA’s decision on whether to recommend that the Secretary of State for Business and Trade should vary or revoke the RRIWTBER, and, if revocation is recommended, whether to replace the RRIWTBER with a new block exemption order.
Those with relevant experience or expertise are invited to respond to the call of inputs. The window for the call for inputs will run until 5pm on Wednesday 10 April.
Further information and how to respond can be found here.
