This session will feature guest speakers from the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), who will share the latest developments on the Act and the new consumer protection regime. The speakers will outline key changes relevant to businesses and legal professionals.

The Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act [‘DMCCA’] came into force on 1 January 2025, marking the most significant reforms to competition and consumer protection laws in over two decades.

Legal directors in the CMA’s consumer protection leadership team provided updates on the new regime, flagging key developments, what’s changed, and what you can expect going forward.

The speakers’ presentations were followed by a Q&A with attendees.
