The Law Society was pleased to welcome a group of Omani law students and young lawyers on 29th September. The visit comprised part of a UK visit organised by the Omani Lawyer Association with support from the Omani British Lawyers Asociation (OBLA).

OBLA is a bi-lateral organisation with the objective of promoting fellowship, good understanding and improve relations between the legal professionals in the United Kingdom and the Sultanate of Oman. The organisation represents a forum within which lawyers working in both jurisdictions can shre view on topics of mutal interest, hold conferences and seminars on topical issues and generally develop training opportunities.

The Law Society has supported this initiative since its inception and hosted the launch of the organisation in the UK in 2013.
