Bruce was responsible for setting up SampleRite’s sampling facility in Qingdao in 2011 to meet the scale and continued growth of the Chemical industry in China. The Qingdao facility mirrors the UK site and offers a fully legal alternative to existing practices and in the process deliver a unique business model to worldwide chemical companies based in China.
Jon Geldart, Executive Director Markets Development (Greater China), Grant Thornton International
Jon is in charge of strategic markets development of Grant Thornton (Zhi Tong) China and is responsible for advising leadership on the development of inbound and outbound work flow. Author of ‘Notes from a Beijing Coffee Shop’ and ‘The Thoughts of Chairmen Now’ which share insights into modern day China through a series of real life personal stories.
Narcessa Swan- Series Producer, Meridian Line Films
Nacressa is a producer with over 10 years’ experience working in factual television. Meridian Line Films have a long association with China, including an award-wining series on the Beijing Olympics. The Team is already in production with a YouTube Channel about China named China Icons.
John Shutt- Emeritus Professor of Employment and Regional Development at Leeds Business School, Leeds Beckett University
John teaches on a consultancy basis at Leeds Business School, where he has had extensive experience teaching on the Leeds MBA Masters in Change Management and Masters in International Trade and Finance. He also teaches regional business development at the College of Business and Management, Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT), Hangzhou, China.
