The JLD has published guidance for employers on best practice for supporting wellbeing and resilience in the workplace. 

The JLD has published guidance for employers on best practice for supporting wellbeing and resilience in the workplace. This follows the results of a survey undertaken by the JLD in early 2017 which found that more than 90 per cent of respondents had experienced stress in their role with 26 per cent saying they experience severe / extreme levels of stress. In addition, more than 25 per cent of respondents stated that they had suffered with a mental health problem in the last month (whether formally diagnosed or not) with only 23 per cent telling their employer about it. 

The guidance aims to support employers with safeguarding and promoting the resilience and wellbeing of employees in the workplace by focusing on three key themes:

  • culture
