Celebrating Eid al-Fitr 2015

Eid al-Fitr is an important religious festival in the Muslim calendar that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. Eid al-Fitr celebrates the conclusion of the 29 or 30 days of dawn-to-sunset fasting during the entire month of Ramadan. In recognition of this, the Law Society is hosting an event which combines its religious significance with the positive impact of Muslim lawyers in the profession.

Why attend?

The Law Society is committed to promoting diversity in the profession. By hosting our first Eid event we hope to celebrate its importance and highlight the positive contribution of Muslim lawyers in the profession. 

The event also presents an opportunity to raise awareness of Eid to the wider legal community. Following the keynote speaker and entertainment, there will be an opportunity for attendees to network and develop and build new professional relationships.
