This course considers the acquisition of a private company. Making extensive use of a realistic and evolving case study, you will consider the legal process from taking instructions to post completion, dealing with key legal and regulatory issues.

At the end of the course, you will:

• Understand the process of an international acquisition

• Appreciate how the laws and practices in different jurisdictions can impact upon a cross-border transaction

• Be able to manage due diligence and respond to enquiries

• Advise on the law relating to key aspects of the transaction

• Be able to negotiate and draft a share purchase agreement and ancillary documentation
