Our two-session seminar on Thursday 19 September takes place in Leeds between 4.45pm and 8pm.

The workshop is included in your Property Section membership.

Join our practical, interactive session with John de Waal and Andy Creer of Hardwicke chambers as they share some of the insights from their recent book on risk and negligence in property transactions. This first session will focus on idenfying the problems, pitfalls and risks that practitioners face when acting for the buyer, seller or lender, which can lead to a liability in negligence.

The second session will focus on potential future changes in conveyancing, addressing the following key questions:

  • Does legislation have an effect on the mindset of a property solicitor to address the demands of today’s society?
  • How does a firm visualise its identity for tomorrow’s future when incorporating innovation?
  • Where do property solicitors fit in the future world of conveyancing?

Places are limited, so book your place early.
