From 16 November 2020, HM Land Registry (HMLR) will resume cancelling applications with outstanding requests for information (requisitions).

The cancellation of applications with outstanding requisitions was paused earlier this year, due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. However, as applications have risen, HMLR has announced it will resume this practice, in order to reduce delays.

HMLR will send customers a reminder letter, giving four weeks’ notice of the cancellation, along with details on how to request an extension if needed.
