The Council of Mortgage Lenders (CML) is currently undertaking an informal consultation exercise to seek the views of CML Handbook users – mortgage lenders, solicitors and conveyancers – on the handbook.

The last major review took place in 2010, but updates have been made when required further to legislative changes, such as the Mortgage Credit Directive, and through requests from lenders and users.

The CML is conducting this short survey to gather information from interested parties to better understand which aspects of the handbook users would like to see changed.

The deadline for responses is Wednesday 16 November.
