Human rights, technology and private client practice are three new categories in this year’s line up for the legal awards ceremony of the year, the Law Society’s Excellence Awards
Nominations for the awards opened today, 9 March, and close on 12 June.
Law Society president Andrew Caplen said: “I am delighted that members asked for new categories. We have refreshed the list this year. The Human Rights Lawyer of the Year, Excellence in Technology and Excellence in Private Client Practice awards recognise the tremendous work of our colleagues in these areas.”
The new Excellence in Private Client Practice category celebrates excellence and outstanding achievement in private client work. We’re looking for exceptional teams or firms (including sole practitioner firms) who excel within the wide range of areas that make up private client practice.
You will be able to demonstrate evidence of the necessary capacity and technical expertise needed to undertake complex and demanding private client issues. Judges will be looking for significant contributions to private client work, technical knowledge, skills and abilities as well as dedication to achieving complete client satisfaction
