The Law Society launched a report on ways to boost capital markets and attract domestic and international investment in Nigeria.

A joint project between the Law Society and the Nigerian Capital Markets Solicitors Association, the report reviews the current situation in the country and recommends a number of key reforms that will help achieve greater market participation.

The report was funded by the UK Foreign Office as part of their Emerging Capital Markets Taskforce (ECMT). It was co-authored by Elizabeth Uwaifo, Managing Partner at Radix Legal & Consulting, and Samallie Kiyingi, Managing Director of Arinae Group, with input from a joint working committee of senior lawyers from both the UK and Nigeria.
