The LGBT+ Lawyers Division is proud to launch its inaugural essay competition.
The title is:
‘What remaining legal barriers exist for the LGBT+ community in terms of equality, including any issues with the application of the current law?’
The essay should be no more than 2,000 words. Closing date for submissions is 31 March 2019.
The winner will receive a cash prize of £750 and their essay will be published on the Law Society website.
A second highly commended essay will be published with the writer receiving £250.
Who can enter?
The competition is open to GDL and LPC students, GDL and LPC graduates, paralegals, trainee solicitors and solicitors as of 31 March 2019.
