What’s in a name? Is the title of solicitor still relevant?

The essay should be no more than 2,000 words not including references, footnotes and headings. Closing date for submissions is 30 November 2019.

The winner will receive a cash prize of £500.

Who can enter

The competition is open to those with the status of solicitor apprentice, LPC student, LPC graduate or trainee solicitor as of 30 November 2019.

Unfortunately, the competition is not open to LLB/law students/graduates or Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) students/graduates, as they are not part of the JLD membership.
