1. You are eligible to take part in this prize draw if you are a current member of the Law Society Private Client Solicitors Section as of 23 May 2024.

2. To enter the prize draw you must:

  • take a photo of yourself holding a visible copy of PS Magazine in the prize draw photo booth at the Private Client Members’ Lounge in association with Bequeathed

    during the conference; and
  •  upload a copy of that photograph to a LinkedIn post with the tag #PCConf2024

   before the Prize Draw Deadline.

 2. You are only permitted to submit one entry per person.

 3. You are only permitted to submit one entry per photograph. If your photograph shows more than one eligible Section member, the entry will be credited to the Section member who creates the LinkedIn post. By uploading a photo and using the #PCConf2024 hashtag, you confirm that you consent, and that you have obtained the consent of any other person visible in the photo, for the image to be uploaded and shared for the purposes of this prize draw.

 4. The closing date to qualify for entry to this prize draw is 11:59pm on 27 May 2024 (“Prize Draw Deadline”). Photographs uploaded or tagged after this time will not qualify a member to be entered into the prize draw.

5. The Law Society accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully recorded or included in the prize draw due to a technical fault of any kind.

6. A winner will be chosen from amongst the list of qualifying entries by random draw performed by a computer process on 30 May 2024.

7. The winner will receive their choice of either a Cookies, Crisps & Snacks Sweet & Savoury Bumper Basket hamper or a Luxury Pamper Hamper Tower from Ltd. Other than the choice specified here the prize is not exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.

8. The winner will be notified by email or telephone using the details in your Section members account before 3 June 2024. The winner’s name will also be announced on the Private Client Section LinkedIn account, and in the Section magazine. If a winner does not respond to the Society within 14 days of being notified by the Society, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and the Society will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.

9. The prize will be sent to the winner by courier within 14 days of responding to the notification of their win.

10. The decision of the Society regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

11. As far as is permitted by law, the Law Society will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner, nor does it accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by our negligence.

12. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Society reserves the right to refuse entry, or to refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

13. The Society reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend this prize draw promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
