Sheffield and District Junior Lawyers Division

Region: Yorkshire
Catchment area: South Yorkshire

Sheffield and District JLD promotes the interests of junior lawyers in the Sheffield region and provides members with a forum to develop relationships within the legal community. This year’s committee aims to widen the scope of the group by attracting and encouraging the involvement of other professionals.

We hosted Sheffield’s First Interprofessional Ball last year and are looking to do the same again this year but to make it even bigger and better! We are arranging new and exciting events, seminars and workshops aimed at developing skills, offering support/advice and a place for like-minded individuals to share experiences. We are particularly interested in increasing our FELT membership.

This year’s chosen charity is Sheffield Mind and we are proud to be supporting such an amazing local charity who do such fabulous work in our local area - mental health is just as important as physical health. We hope to raise lots of funds at our events over the next year!

Please visit our social networking sites to stay abreast of legal updates and events we are hosting. Our committee terms run from March to February following elections held in March.
