The UK government has published guidance on the new national lockdown announced on 4 January 2021.
We’ve summarised the government’s guidance on the new rules and how they affect solicitors and firms. As we embark on another national lockdown with the new COVID variant spreading rapidly, we call for safety to be the top priority in the courts and tribunals system.
Our interpretation of the rules includes:
- working at home and working in the office
- meeting clients
- house moves and conveyancing
- evictions (England only)
- attending court
- critical workers (England only).
