What action should your firm be taking in a no-deal scenario? The Law Society has published a series of papers for solicitors in the event of a no-deal Brexit.

In that scenario, the EU and UK will have failed to sign both a withdrawal agreement (governing the terms of the UK’s departure from the EU) as well as an agreement governing the future relationship between the two parties.

To support members, the Law Society has provided guidance on what steps solicitors can take in a no-deal scenario, including the impact of the loss of judicial cooperation mechanisms, how to provide legal services in the EU, data protection and family law.
