The Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) has announced details of its New Dialogues Programme 2019 for future leaders.

The programme provides a unique opportunity for young and emerging leaders from a range of backgrounds and industries to develop 21st century conflict management, negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

Participants will enjoy advanced training and support in the essential skills required to facilitate dialogue effectively, and to manage contentious conversations. These skills are essential for today’s leaders, both to resolve conflict and to bring teams together.

The programme consists of a skills training course held at Allen & Overy London on 25 October 2019. The course will be delivered by CEDR, a world leader in conflict management and alternative dispute resolution. After the event, participants will be invited to join the CEDR supported network of alumni who will be offered future events and mentoring support.

The programme is open to anyone under the age of 30 who has shown an ability to be a leader and is likely to support CEDR’s initiative of promoting better conflict management throughout society. Whether you’re entrusted with a leadership position in your job, or as a student, this programme can help you develop the skills needed throughout your future career.

The programme is free to attend, although participants will be required to pay for their own expenses.

The deadline for applications is 16 September 2019.
