Take a look at highlights from the conference on “Innovation and future of the legal profession”

The conference organised by the CCBE on 21 October in Paris highlighted new developments in the legal sector including

  • Challenges imposed by new technologies
  • New expectations of clients
  • The need of a long-term vision for the profession

Over the next five or ten years, artificial intelligence will carry out numerous tasks that were traditionally performed by lawyers. Lawyers will be in competition with robots, with ultra-performing softwares that provide low-cost services.
