The British Ambassador to Russia, Dr Laurie Bristow, will be leading a Business is GREAT mission to Krasnodar and Sochi on 20-22 March 20017. 

Krasnodar Krai is the major Russian tourist, sports, transport and agricultural centre of Russia and one of the fastest growing regions – its GRP growth in 2016 is estimated at 0.9% against the overall Russian GDP decline of 0.2%. The mission will cover both cities – Krasnodar and Sochi - and will focus on sport, education, agriculture, food processing and law.

The programme will include

• Meeting with the Governor of Krasnodar Krai

• Meetings with relevant Ministers / Head of Government Departments

• One to one meetings with commercial partners - arranged upon individual requests

• An evening networking event

• Site visits to key enterprises of the region according to the delegates’ interest

• Possible seminars showcasing British expertise in law, education and agriculture

You may also join only part of the mission. Please note that non-Russian citizens need to have a valid Russian visa to enter the country.
