Join your Italian and British colleagues for this event at the Law Society

The British-Italian Law Association (BILA ) will hold its formal Annual Dinner for 2017 again at the Law Society, on Friday, 27 January 2017. The evening will start with a drinks reception at 18.45  for 19.30 and will provide all guests with plenty of networking opportunities.

BILA consists of English solicitors, barristers, and some judges, as well as Italian avvocati with an interest in the laws and culture of both Italy and England. The association is also open to non-legal professions. Its annual events honour Italian and British heritage and roots in law and provide valuable connections, debate and stimulate education about current legal issues.

This year, the special guests at their formal annnual gala dinner will be

  • H.E. Massimiliano Mazzanti, Console Generale d’Italia a Londra,
  • Christina Blacklaws the Deputy Vice-President of the Law Society
  • Guest speaker Antonio Caprarica, author, journalist and former long time RAI correspondent in London

The dinner provides an excellent opportunity for both UK practitioners and Italian avvocati to connect with their colleagues and exchange their views on current topics affecting both jurisdictions.
