The Law Society is committed to supporting its members in delivering impactful and relevant pro bono assistance around the world. This seminar will provide an overview of the role lawyers can play in supporting effective pro bono projects internationally, why we do it and how you and your firm can get involved. Speakers from legal development organisations, law firms and will explore how we can link pro-bono demands with the relevant expertise, understand different forms of pro bono activity and where to find opportunities to get involved.
Representatives from a number of pro-bono organisations, NGOs and the Law Society’s own international projects and human rights team will be exhibiting during the networking reception following the seminar for further opportunities to discuss how you can match your skills to relevant and meaningful projects and other activities internationally.
