Insight into the life of an in-house lawyer (solicitors and patent attorneys)

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) is hosting a careers afternoon at its headquarters.

Who should attend?

This event is aimed at law students and science students interested in a career in law and in particular working in-house.

Overview of the event

The afternoon is intended to provide law and science students with the opportunity to:

  • hear presentations by in-house lawyers from various legal functions within GSK (solicitors working in different areas of the business, trade mark attorneys and patent attorneys who have a science background);
  • learn about the sort of work we do in-house and our career paths;
  • learn more about GSK generally;
  • meet and ask questions of our lawyers in an informal environment – a ‘networking session’.

Location and time

The event will take place at their headquarters: GSK House, 980 Great West Road, Brentford, Middlesex, TW8 9GS, on Wednesday 2nd May 2018 from 1.00 to 5.30 pm.
