On the 30th anniversary of Section 28 of the Local Government Act 1988 (and the 15th of its repeal), this seminar will focus on the legacy of this notorious legislation and how far we have come since its abolition.
A panel hosted by Katrina Robinson, chair of the LGBT+ Lawyers Division, who will be joined by representatives from the world of politics and education, including Tim Ramsey, Chief Executive of LGBT+ young person’s charity Just Like Us. Stonewall will also be on the panel to discuss similar current international legislation.
