The Lord Mayor of the City of London, Alderman Alan Yarrow will visit Brazil, Colombia, Peru and Mexico on Thursday 9 July – Thursday 23 July 2015. The overarching objective for the visit is to support and promote the UK based financial and professional services industry, with a focus on areas including:

  • Capital markets
  • Insurance/ Re-insurance
  • Infrastructure development and PPP
  • Legal services

10 July – Rio de Janeiro

Please note that we expect there to be limited access to high level calls during the visit and we cannot guarantee access to these meetings.

From 1 April 2013, UK Trade & Investment has applied a charge for the business programme for companies accompanying the Lord Mayor’s visits. The charge under their Overseas Market Introduction Service (OMIS) is a contribution towards the time UK Trade & Investment teams spend arranging the programme.  The OMIS charge for the visit is confirmed as £840 + VAT for delegates attending the entire programme or £210 + VAT per country visited.
