The recent changes to the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) regulations came into effect in April 2018.

It is now unlawful to let buildings (both commercial and domestic) in England and Wales which do not achieve a minimum Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of ‘E’.

From April 2023, MEES will be extended to cover all leases, including existing leases.

This webinar, originally broadcast on 31 May 2018, provides an overview of EPC and MEES regulations including the key implications for your clients, scope, exemptions and temporary extensions.
