The Law Society has responded to the Law Commission’s consultation on technical issues in charity law.

The Law Commission has been looking into technical issues in charity law. In September 2016, it published a supplementary consultation, in addition to the consultation it held in 2015, which asked some further questions around the issues of changing a charity’s purposes and trust corporations.

The Law Society submitted a response in October 2016 with the help of charity experts on the Wills and Equity Committee.

The Law Society’s response can be found here.
