The Law Society has submitted its response to the Law Commission’s latest call for ideas.

Every three or so years, the Law Commission seeks suggestions from interested parties to help identify the areas of law in England and Wales which could benefit from reform.

The responses received by the Law Commission go on to inform and shape their programme of work for the next couple of years.

The Law Society submitted our response in October, which, as suggested by and with the advice of the Wills and Equity Committee, included a recurring issue relating to ademption in wills as an area of reform.

The Law Society’s response can be found here.

Further information on the Law Commission’s consultation can be found here.
