Regional seminars: Elderly client double bill (January/February 2019)

Wary of writing a death bed will? Aware of the replacement for DoLs? Comfortable with care funding fees?

Managing elderly and vulnerable clients’ affairs is increasingly complicated - both the interpersonal challenges and the technical complications.

We have designed this double-bill of Private Client Section seminars to provide clarity and support to overcome these challenges.

Attend both parts to equip yourself with:

  • soft skills: Deathbed wills - a seminar for practitioners preparing wills at the end of life – speaker: Ian Bond, director and head of trusts and estates at Talbots Law Ltd
  • case law: Constructive methods to successfully navigate the CoP and beyond – speaker: Helen Clarke, solicitor, lecturer and in-house trainer

These seminars are inclusive to Private Client Section members .

Special offer for junior lawyers

We want to encourage lawyers to pursue careers in private client law. As part of this, we are offering one free place to trainees or junior lawyers (up to three years’ PQE) to attend the Private Client Section regional seminars if accompanied by a Private Client Section member (places are limited).
