The Law Management Section offers a Section member the amazing opportunity of free LinkedIn tuition

You’ve read the articles (Growing your bottom line in 2016: Is LinkedIn worth YOUR time? Part 1 and Part 2) and you’re convinced that LinkedIn is a great next step to help your firm build and engage with clients, and ultimately, grow your bottom line. But you could do with a hand. One lucky member of the Law Management Section will have just that – LinkedIn experts Emily Miller and Susan Kench (www.linkedintutors.com), authors of the LMS LinkedIn articles are offering their time for free to a member of the LMS to help them with their LinkedIn journey.

Emily and Susan will work with you to:

  • set up your profile (if needed);
  • optimise your profile for searches; and
  • show you how to use LinkedIn as an effective networking tool by setting small weekly tasks.

You will need to be:

  • a Law Management Section member;
  • working in a client-facing role;
  • keen to learn and willing to devote between 30 minutes and one hour per week for eight weeks to complete the short weekly tasks;
  • able to work with Emily and Susan online once a week (15 min) for eight weeks; and
  • prepared to write about your experiences for the Law Management Section.

Interested?

If you’d like to take advantage of this fantastic offer, all you need to do is write a short paragraph (no more than 100 words) explaining:

  • what you want to achieve as far as your practice is concerned; and
  • why you should be chosen for this exciting opportunity.

Entries should be sent to the Law Management Section e-newsletter editor elizabeth_noone@lawsociety.org.uk by 30 May 2016.
