The Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (“CEDR”) is launching a New Dialogues Programme in the autumn which may be of interest to junior lawyers.

The programme, which is for young leaders (under 30) from business and the community, is on conflict management and dialogue skills.

The first part of the programme is a day’s training in Londonon 20October 2017 at Allen & Overy focusing on gaining skills in having their own difficult conversation and to facilitate difficult conversations for others.  The course is led by experts in dispute resolution and is designed to provide practical skills.

This will be a fantastic opportunity for young and emerging leaders to gain soft skills in dispute handling as well as meeting others.

The course is open to all under 30 who occupy (or are on the way to occupying) a leadership position in their work or community. The programme is completely free for participants but there is an application process.

The application form (deadline 11 September 2017)
