The eighth annual Junior Lawyers Division essay competition is now open.

This year’s title

‘How will the rule of law be affected by advances in legal technology?’

The essay should be no more than 2,000 words. Closing date for submissions is 30 November 2018.

The winner will receive a cash prize of £500 and their essay will be published on the JLD website. Runner-up essays will also be published.

Who can enter?

The competition is open to those with the status of LPC student, LPC graduate or trainee solicitor as of 30 November 2018.

Your Junior Lawyers Division is dedicated to meeting the needs of all LPC students, LPC graduates (including those working as paralegals), trainee solicitors, and solicitors with up to five years post qualification experience.
