Designed to help private client practitioners navigate the complexities of elderly client issues, our popular conference brings together lawyers, health and social care experts, policy makers, academics and charity representatives to share their expertise on this complex area.

As a solicitor with up to five years’ post qualification experience, you can book your place at the discounted rate of £200 + VAT.

Learning outcomes:

  • learn to demonstrate competency in managing elements such as stress and the emotional aspect of work whilst ensuring best practice with clients.
  • learn methods of dealing with end of life care particularly around the advanced care planning regime. Key components comprising of how and  when the difficult conversations are supposed to take place will be explored.
  • obtain a comprehensive update on the implementation of the ‘golden rule’, including when to adhere to it, obtaining medical assessments in a timely manner, and selling it to your clients.

Your Junior Lawyers Division is dedicated to meeting the needs of all LPC students, LPC graduates (including those working as paralegals), trainee solicitors, and solicitors with up to five years post qualification experience.
