The Junior Lawyers Division is holding two free all-day skills events for junior lawyers - from LPC students to solicitors with five years’ PQE.
The aim of the forums is to equip those who are at the start of their careers with skills and advice necessary to progress, diversify and develop within the legal profession.
Career development skills for junior lawyers will take place on Saturday 21 September and is aimed at trainee solicitors, NQs and solicitors with up to five years’ PQE.
Helping you to secure a training position will take place on Saturday 5 October and is aimed at LPC students and LPC graduates looking for a training position.
Both events are free to attend and will be held at the Law Society,113 Chancery Lane, London WC2A 1PL.
These forums are full-day events running from about 10am to 4.30pm and involving a series of 45-50 minute presentations on various aspects of securing a training position, legal practice and management (depending upon which event you attend).
The forums will be followed by a networking drinks reception until about 6pm.
These timings are approximate until the programmes have been confirmed.
Individual 30 minute CV clinics will be running throughout the day for delegates upon request.
Registered delegates will be notified by email around a fortnight ahead of the event with further information and clinic appointment reservation instructions.

Appointments are limited and will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
