The Solicitors Regulation Authority has added Azerbaijan to its list of recognised jurisdictions. Lawyers qualified in Azerbaijan will now be eligible for the Qualified Lawyer Transfer Scheme (QLTS) to become a solicitor in England and Wales.
On Monday, the Secretary of State for International Trade Liam Fox signed a continuity Free Trade Agreement with Korea that will allow English and Welsh solicitors to continue to practise in Korea.
