As trade between the United Kingdom and Ukraine continues to grow so does the importance of understanding various recurring issues that arise in cross-border transactions and the most effective ways of addressing them (both at the stage a transaction takes place and if a dispute arises in connection with the transaction).

The forum will bring together leading experts from the UK and Ukraine to discuss the latest developments in English law and to promote legal links and business between practitioners from both countries.

A team of leading English and Ukraine practitioners will discuss these topics:

  • Ukrainian start-ups and SMEs doing business in the UK
  • Angel exit and other options including estate planning and restructuring
  • The price of success/the consequences of failure: resolving your disputes in England and Wales
  • Working with English and Welsh solicitors on cross border and international matters

The conference is aimed at senior representatives from leading companies, law firms and organisations from Ukraine, Central Asia and the UK. The working language for this event is English.

The conference will be followed by a networking reception. Please click here for the draft programme.

Participation in this event is free, however registration is required to participate. Please RSVP with your name, job title and company details to Iryna Kuguk. Please note that due to a high level of interest in the event, attendance is limited to three representatives per firm/ organisation.
