Consultation on rules for foreign lawyer admissions in Washington D.C.

The D.C Bar’s Global Legal Task Force is recommending some changes to the rules for foreign lawyers wishing to be admitted in Washington D.C., and has issued a public consultation on its proposals. Further information and a summary of the Task Force’s report and recommendations can be found here.

The Law Society of England and Wales will be making a submission to the consultation on behalf of the solicitor profession, and we are seeking the views of our solicitor members and member firms to inform this consultation.
